Welcome to the first Make Notts Safe Fund delivered by Nottinghamshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner – Commissioner Henry. This fund will provide grants to third sector community based organisations to enable the delivery of projects in line with the Commissioner’s priorities.
The funding is available to support third sector organisations (i.e. registered charities and social enterprises) to assist the Commissioner to prevent crime, respond to issues of greatest concern in communities, and deliver victim and community support services.
The Commissioner has identified her priorities and where third sector organisations are well placed to help deliver them via grants from this fund. Details of these areas can be found in the Guidance Document which can be downloaded below. Applications for funding to deliver activity in line with these priorities will score more highly in the evaluation of the grant applications.
Applications are invited for up to a maximum of £10,000 and organisations may apply for one project only. If successful, the grant must be spent and delivered by the end of March 2022.
The deadline for receipt of applications is midday on Thursday 30th September.
If you would like to seek advice on whether your project idea might fit within the Commissioner’s priorities, or you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Claire Good on grants@nottinghamshire.pnn.police.uk or call 0115 844 5998.
The Unity In The Community team are extremely happy to receive funding from the Nottinghamshire Police & Crime Commissioner Caroline Henry, to launch our Second Chance Project, supporting the wider Make Notts Safe Initiative. We really appreciate the financial support we have received to deliver this innovative project.
