African Women Empowerment Forum

AWEF is a social enterprise working to develop African women in communities. It functions on two levels, as a charity and business with activities centred on community involvement and development.

We offer a safe and structured environment for children of all ages to learn and become the best versions of themselves. With a group of qualified coaches and young leaders offering guidance to any child who needs it.

Himmah

As a local grassroots community Charity our work and our delivery is wholly driven by local people. All the Trustees, Staff and volunteers are ordinary local Nottingham people, with a huge commitment to help others. We are grateful to them all.

Al Hurraya

To develop culturally specific interventions to improve overall community cohesion, to enable Beneficiaries and families to overcomes barriers to reach their potential.

Redthread

Since April 2018, Redthread has worked alongside NHS staff at Queen’s Medical Centre (QMC) in Nottingham to provide support for 11-25 year olds impacted by violence and exploitation.

YMCA - Newark & Sherwood

Our Community & Activity Village in Newark embraces values to develop the mind, body and spirit of individuals, families and communities, and improve health and wellbeing for all. With these values we will inspire young people to find a place where they can belong, contribute and thrive.

Stonebridge City Farm

We have a wide range of ANIMALS - large, small and cuddly, and have a great PLAY AREA, CAFÉ and SHOP. Our GARDENS are definitely worth a visit - where we grow seasonal plants, produce and herbs.

The Ark - CongYah

The Ark launched in 2019 and has function rooms available for hire to small community projects, organisations and individuals for seminars/workshops, parties, meet-ups and much more.

Trent Vineyard

As well as teaching others about Jesus and providing a space to worship God, Trent Vineyard is committed to serving the city, helping the poor, the disadvantaged and the socially excluded.

Karimia Institute

To help individuals and families learn life skills, develop moral and spiritual values through education, worship and recreation.
